CLEP® Information and ID Requirements

 

STEP 1:

Current TCC Students

  • If you plan to have your CLEP credit posted to your TCC transcript, request a CLEP test referral from a Career Advisor before scheduling your test.
  • Contact Career Advising to request your testing referral.

Non-TCC Students

  • You do not have to be currently enrolled as a TCC student to take a CLEP exam.
  • If you plan to send your score(s) to another institution, you do not need to meet with a TCC Career Advisor and can continue scheduling your test
  • Check with your intended institution about their requirements on accepting CLEP scores

STEP 2: Visit collegeboard.org/clep to create an account, register and pay your CLEP testing fees. Your CLEP Registration Ticket will need to be uploaded to RegisterBlast. (Appointments made without a CLEP Registration Ticket will be cancelled.)

STEP 3: Check ID requirements for this test prior to your appointment. (Discrepancies with your photo ID may result in your exam appointment being canceled or rescheduled.)

STEP 4: Register here to pay the TCC Admin test fee and schedule your test.
