What to Know Before You Schedule
FGCU Testing Services provides lockers for you to store your valuables and personal belongings while testing; no personal belongings, other than those authorized by a test sponsor, are allowed in the testing lab (this includes, but is not limited to food, water, liquids, backpacks, bracelets, large jewelry, electronic devices, etc.). Candidates may wear sweaters, jackets, cardigans, or other removable articles of clothing into the testing lab but they cannot be removed during testing.
Only the scheduled candidate is allowed in the Testing Lab; while a candidate can be accompanied to the testing facility, no person can remain on the second floor of McTarnaghan Hall while a candidate is testing. There are places on campus to wait until a candidate completes their exam; feel free to ask the Testing Services staff for more information.
Refunds & Fees
Beginning July 1, 2023 – RegisterBlast will have a $7 annual surcharge to use the registration services. This will only be charged for the first exam booked each year (from the date of initial purchase). To ensure that you are not charged this fee multiple times, be sure to register with the same name and email address each time.
Effective January 1, 2025- FGCU Testing Services exam prices will increase slightly. This change is essential for us to continue delivering the quality and service you deserve. We appreciate your understanding and support!
FGCU Testing Services has a strict no-refund policy. If you feel that a refund is warranted, please email testing@fgcu.edu with your request; emails received are handled on a case-by-case basis and do not guarantee any refund will be given.
Late Arrivals
Candidates should arrive at least fifteen (15) minutes prior to their scheduled testing time. Candidates arriving after their scheduled time may not be able to test due to time and/or seating availability. Candidates arriving more than fifteen (15) minutes past their scheduled start time who have not reached out to Testing & Assessment will not be accommodated.
If you are running late or are lost finding the testing center, please call (239-590-7955) and let us know so that we may assist you.
